⁹ And immediately the man became well, and picked up his mat and began to walk.

^(A)Now it was the Sabbath on that day. ¹⁰ So ^(B)the Jews were saying to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and ^(C)it is not lawful for you to carry your mat.” ¹¹ But he answered them, “He who made me well was the one who said to me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’”
